This Morning’s Phillip Schofield in hysterics as Holly Willoughby struggles to say her lines live on air leaving her blushing
Phil struggled to contain his mirth as Holly struggled with her words
PHILLIP Schofield struggled to stop laughing as his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby slipped up live on air.
As Holly tried to continue the link, the 54-year-old started to laugh hysterically and could only stop himself by firmly placing his hand over his mouth.
Holly’s minor mishap occurred when she was introducing a video starring their chef Gino D'Acampo on Thursday's show.
The Italian has been visiting different public services to highlight the great work they do before cooking them a meal as a reward for all their efforts.
Last week, Gino was working with the fire service and, as Holly tried to explain, he'd filmed a visit with some hard working paramedics in Scotland.
She began: “First, he reluctantly put down his hose and gave back his helmet as this week Gino has swapped the fireman’s watch for the ambulance service and lended a helping hand.
Phil interrupts Holly with a smile on his face and says to her: “Lended?”
Holly started to giggle and tried to correct herself, saying: “Gave help, a lending a hand…a helping hand, oh don’t!”
Looking into the camera, an exasperated Holly shouted: “He helped out! It was very good, watch it!”
It wasn't the first time that chaos descended in the studio on Thursday's show.
Earlier in the episode Holly had started screaming because a dog started to lick her foot.
The pair were talking to a real life pet detective about the rise in stolen pets when his trained cocker spaniel, Molly, began to cause chaos.
As Molly began to fidget and whine on the floor, Phillip got up and took her off air to keep her distracted and allow Holly to continue the interview.
However, Molly became excited once again when she was brought back to the sofa during a Skype interview and Holly interrupted the guest speaker as she could be heard exclaiming: "She's licking my feet!"
Her owner insisted the dog wasn't usually so disruptive just as Molly proceeded to climb all over the This Morning sofa, while an amused Phil and Holly could only watch one.
Holly quipped: "Don't let Luna see you... she's just sussing out the place, don't worry."
Later in the show, Holly got her very own unicorn for her birthday.
The star will celebrate her 36th birthday on Friday, but as the show is hosted by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes that day, she toasted her day 24 hours early.
At the end of the show, co-host Phillip presented her with her very own unicorn - which is actually Celebrity Big Brother's Tony the Pony in disguise.
Clad in a colourful blanket reading Happy Birthday Holly, pink sparkly top hat and other colourful attire, the unicorn was lead out by Gino D'Acampo.
