Emmerdale’s mystery woman revealed as Cain and Chas Dingle’s estranged mum Faith as she claims SHE was the one who donated £20k towards Sarah’s cancer treatment

EMMERDALE’s mystery woman living in a barn has been revealed as Cain and Chas Dingle’s mum Faith.
She has also claimed that she is the one who donated £20,000 towards her great-granddaughter Sarah’s cancer treatment, though her daughter and son are sceptical.
Faith (Sally Dexter) has been staying in a barn on the Dales while Sarah has helped get her medicine for her dodgy cough.
She later decided to stay at the B&B, but ended up collapsing with Doug calling her an ambulance to take her to the hospital.
It is when she is being looked after medical staff outside The Woolpack that her son and daughter see her.
When Diane asked whether they knew her Cain wryly replied: “We’ve met once or twice.”
Chas then spat out: “Hello, mother.”
They all then follow her to the hospital and Chas is still fuming, remarking on Sarah taking money out of the charity box for her: “You’ve changed the way you operate – getting kids to steal for you. Nice one, Fagin.”
When Sarah asked what was wrong with her, Chas snarkily remarked: “She’s a liar, a layabout and a letdown.”
As they later stand in her hospital room, she revealed that she had no place to stay.
Chas was not sympathetic at all, but when Cain got out his wallet Faith told him: “Oh, put that away. If I wanted money I would have kept what I had… instead of giving every penny of my last £20,000 to your charity fund for Sarah’s treatment.”
Charity, like Chas, was sceptical: “And where did you get twenty grand from?”
She revealed she had got it after her husband died.
So did Faith really donate the £20,000? Or was it an elaborate attempt to get back into her family’s lives?
