Hollyoaks star Lisa Maxwell is furious with soap bosses for ageing her with make-up to make her look older and says ‘it’s crazy!’
The former Loose Women star has returned for a brief stint playing Tracey Donovan in the E4 soap
HOLLYOAKS star Lisa Maxwell is raging at show bosses for ‘ageing’ her on the show.
The former Loose Women star, 53, entered the soap last summer as Tracey Donovan—mother of Grace, Adam, Liam and Jesse.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun’s Bizarre column she said: “They’ve aged me! I have to have all this brown s*** in my hair which is a pain to get out.
“I’ve had a make under which to be honest with you when you get to my age if you go in without make-up then it’s a make under. But they just wanted me to look drab and troubled.
The star had a brief role in August and returned to Hollyoaks in December for another stint.
The news she was entering the show was first revealed by The Sun's Bizarre column in August.
She added: “They said ‘would I go in and do a little bit’, I did a little bit. I loved it, they loved it.
"They said would I go and do another little bit. I don’t want to be a regular because I don’t live in Liverpool. I like my life, I like the life work balance. But I love the character."
Lisa admitted that although she loves Hollyoaks—her first love is her garden.

Lisa quit Loose Women in 2014 after six years on the panel, complaining that the show had changed.
At the time she said: “We are the hired talent and do what we are told. But the one thing in all our powers is if we stay or go, and I’ve decided to go.
“‘Loose Women is not the same show and it’s not as much fun as it was.
“It used to be about a group of women who all know each other really well and have lots of chemistry.
“It has become a lot more serious and less personal. I miss the laughs and I miss the show coming from the heart.
“Now it’s just about giving political opinions. But I can’t do that and I think people watching can tell if you’re faking it.”
