Rihanna stuns in gold as she channels Amelia Earhart for Harper’s Bazaar anniversary issue
The singer called Amelia a 'dynamic force'
RIHANNA is a gold class member as she channels Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly alone across the Atlantic Ocean.
The singer was at the top of her plane as she shimmered in aviation gear for Harper’s Bazaar’s 150th anniversary issue.
The 28-year-old rih-booted her look to pay homage to Amelia, who was also famed for her in-flight fashion advice in the magazine in 1929.
Rihanna wrote: “There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world.
"It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer.
“Amelia Earhart was such a dynamic force in her industry, setting multiple aviation records in her time.
"So it was a no-brainer for me to team up with Harper’s Bazaar in honour of a woman who held her own with the big boys.”
Rihanna is a keen follower of fashion having her own line with Puma, and she attended Paris Fashion Week late last year.
