NETFLIX has released the final trailer for the highly-anticipated Iron Fist online.
The new two-minute long preview comes after they released a teaser clip promising Danny Rand will pack a punch on his return to New York.
Danny is back in the city less than five minutes it appears, and already he has himself set up with a lot of enemies- not least those running his parents' company, Rand Industries.
Long-presumed dead by many for the past fifteen years after a plane crash killed his family, Danny's return ruffles the feathers of those who have taken over the company - and believe that it is now rightfully theirs.
Danny now has to fight against both the human and supernatural world to remain where he is - as well as look back on the fifteen years it's taken him to return home.
The new series is the final singular superhero series before Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Daredevil team up with Iron Fist for the mini-series The Defenders.
The other three characters have also had their own, widely praised, singular series on Netflix - which is built into the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by The Avengers.
Back in comic-land, Danny made his debut in 1974 in a time when the buzz around Bruce Lee and martial arts was at its peak.
So, naturally, Danny has become a dab hand at Marshall Arts - achieving Iron Fist status that allows him to punch straight through walls and villains alike.
The Iron Fist series is promising to be chock full of easter eggs by the trailer alone, with appearances made by the only constant character through all previous series - Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple - as well as Luke Cage.
Game of Thrones star Finn Jones, who played Ser Loras Tyrell, will take on the lead role of billionaire Danny Rand who earns the power of the Iron Fist after 15 years training in the mystical city of K’un-L-un.
“I love the character,” the actor previously told .
“What really drew me was the character and the story. I really enjoy how he’s a superhero with a real heart but has spiritual elements as well.
“I think it’s going to be an exciting character to play because there’s this contraction of on one hand he’s from a very wealthy family, he’s a billionaire, on the other hand he’s been in this world of K’un-Lun for a long time where he’s learned Kung-Fu and Buddhist philosophy.
“There’s a contradiction in those elements that’s going to be fun to play.”
