A source said: “Rodrigo is dying to be big on national television and hopes that the deal comes through.

“He knows what an incredible opportunity the show can be and can’t wait to be part of it.”

Last week during an appearance on This Morning, Rodrigo revealed he has no plans to stop going under the knife, even though his numerous procedures have left him unable to breathe properly.

During an appearance on This Morning, the surgery addict told host Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes: “Back in July I had my rose reconstructed with a piece from my ribs which has helped things but I can’t breathe 100%”

He continued:”I just want to perfect myself  and be the best person physically with the help of plastic surgery.”

Rodrigo Alves went on This Morning last week and denied he was addicted to surgery

He explained: “I keep having surgery to repair. I have had 8 nose jobs and it’s a domino effect… I can’t breathe so I have to go under surgery to repair my breathing. It’s like dying your hair.”

As for his famous nickname, he claimed: “I was giving this Ken Doll nickname three years ago, but personally I don’t think I look like doll.”

Rodrigo dismissed claims he is addicted to plastic surgery as he boldly claimed: “There’s no such thing as being addicted to plastic surgery. It’s just constant, it’s like getting an MOT on a car.”

He mused: “Most of us try and change ourselves somehow, I took it a different level.

“But I’m a completely different person now, not just physically but spiritually and mentally.”

As for how the aspiring TV presenter has managed to pay nearly £400,000 on cosmetic procedures, Rodrigo had a simple answer.

He admitted: “My grandparents left me with property and I have inherited quite a good asset. My income is from that.

“I used to be a flight attendant but now I am moving into television. I hope people are able to see a different side of my life that isn’t plastic surgery in the two shows I have coming out.”

Rodrigo previously admitted to The Sun that he deliberately gained weight to have one of his many procedures done.
