TARA Palmer-Tomkinson was the original It girl and had a love life to rival the greatest of romance novels.
The 45-year-old socialite - who was found dead at her London home earlier today - had a wide and varied love life with pop stars and Lords.

The star's most notable relationship was with Blue singer Duncan James.
The pair dated between 2008 and 2009 but remained firm friends for years after their time together.
Tara often spoke about her love life and back in 2011 she revealed that Matalan heir Jamie Hargreaves was the 'love of her life'.
Speaking to She magazine, she said: "I’ve had dreams lately that I’m in love.

“I do miss it. I’ve had it once with Jamie and lost it and I’ve never got past that. Jamie was everything to me, he was my soul mate.”
She also famously dated Robbie Williams but admitted their relationship wasn't as wild as people might think.
“For everything that was on the surface, in reality our relationship was just chicken and sweetcorn soup, sitting at home, watching a movie and going to bed pretty early," she said.
She is also believed to have had a fling with You're Beautiful crooner James Blunt but admitted being in the public eye affected her relationships.

Back in 2006, she said: "I'm mortified someone blabbed about my private life," she said at the time. "I got burnt with James Blunt and I will not talk about Robbie."
She also said: "If nothing had happened between James and I then I would have come right out and said nothing had happened.

"And I haven't done that, have I? That's your answer - it's pretty easy to work out what I am saying. It's not rocket science.
"However, I am quite deliberately stopping short of going into detail. I'm keeping my dignity here. I really would like the whole thing just to blow over."

She was also briefly engaged to PR man Kris Thykier, who is now married to Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman.
Tara's relationship history also included a year-long relationship with Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes in 1999, just after she dated then popstar and EastEnders actor Sid Owen.
The pair were high profile together in 1997 before splitting shortly after.

Tara was also known to have dated Fiat boss Eduardo Teodorani-Fabbri in 2009, and businessman Anton Bilton in 2000 to 2001.
Other dalliances include society restaurateur Mogens Tholstrup and another brief engagement to Greg Martin, son of Beatles manager George Martin.
One of her more high profile dalliances was with Lord Robert Hanson.

Speaking about her desire to settle down, she told the : "I love children, I love families, I believe in marriage, I believe in monogamy. I would like all of that.
"And I'm not going to bother unless I found the right man to actually spend the rest of my life with."
The reality was found dead in her London apartment earlier today.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 13:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to an address in Bramham Gardens, SW5.

“A woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.
“The death is being treated as unexplained. At this early stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. The Coroner has been informed.”
Tara previously admitted she was convinced she had just "weeks to live" after doctors broke the news of her tumour, and also that she was suffering from a rare auto-immune condition which saw abnormal antibodies attack the body’s cells and tissues.

She said: “I went to the doctors to talk about my latest blood test results when I got back from skiing in January.
“I said, ‘What does this mean? Can you translate it?’ And the doctor said, ‘As I suspected, you have a brain tumour.'

“I got terribly frightened. I started thinking, ‘I’m going to die, I’m going to die. I’ve only got a couple of weeks to live.’ Stuff like that.”
But the star admitted her condition had given her a "better perspective" on life.
“‘I’ve gone completely the other way. I’m a very quiet person now, and I like being that person. I have a better perspective on life.”
