Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Vivienne, 15, drops dad’s last name in Playbill for Broadway show

Vivienne is not the first of Brad's children to publicly use just their mother's surname

ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Vivienne has dropped her father's last name from her listing in the Playbill for The Outsiders on Broadway.

The child star helped her mother produce the musical, which opened on April 11 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City.

, Vivienne, 15, chose to use her mother's legal middle name, Jolie, in lieu of her given last name, Jolie-Pitt.

The Outsiders is a new musical based on the YA novel written by author SE Hinton.

The musical is told from the perspective of the 14-year-old protagonist, Ponyboy Curtis (Brody Grant), who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ponyboy follows the ongoing tension between two rival gangs during the 1960s.

Vivienne’s role is listed in the playbill as a producer's assistant.

Her role in the musical did not include a bio.

An assistant producer is typically a member of the production crew who provides administrative and creative support to the producer. 

The Playbill credits Vivienne's mother, Angelina, 48, as a producer on the musical.

“Angelina is thrilled to be working on her first theatrical producing venture alongside her daughter, Vivienne, who is a theatre student and supporter of the arts,” the producer information reads.

The Outsiders: A New Musical has garnered 12 Tony Award nominations including Best Musical and Best Original Music.
