Phil revealed how he and his wife tried out their very own version of Fifty Shades of Grey
PHILLIP Schofield left Holly Willoughby declaring that she’s seen him in a “whole new light” after he made a Fifty Shades revelation about sellotaping his wife to the ceiling.
The pair were sharing with This Morning viewers just how excited the were to see Fifty Shades Darker when it comes out on Friday - which is also Holly’s birthday, when Phillip said that his wife will be “trilled.”
“Mrs S will be thrilled that the movie’s out on Friday,” he teased with a smirk.
He then took the conversation down an unexpected BDSM route…
“After the first one it took me two hours to get her off the ceiling,” said Phil. “Strapped up with sellotaope!”
“Mrs S!” squealed Holly.
Phil didn't stop there, and went to to explain his very practical complaint: “I know, I know, sellotape’s a swine to get down, I tell ya!”
Trying to control her laughter and blushing, Holly told him: “Goodness me I’m seeing you in a whole new light Mr Schofield!”
This isn’t the first time Phil made Holly blush today, earlier in the show he had to tell her to “steady” as she stifled giggles after he claimed he grew in bed.
The pair were doing a segment on back care and better sleep when Holly accidentally set the innuendo off.
She asked: “Is it true you grow in your sleep because your back stretches out?”
Back specialist Garry Trainor joked: “Hasn’t worked for me so far!”
To which Holly reasoned, “I thought that when you were sleeping that everything realigns and you get a bit taller.”
Cue 5’9” Phillip stepping in with a joke he didn’t appear to realise sounded rude…
“Yeah, I’m 6’1” in bed!” he stated.
Leading Holly to start giggling and sarcastically comment, “OK…”
Realising how his joke may have sounded as Holly continued to giggle, Phillip looked into the camera and warned, “Steady!”
