It's the biggest night in the British film calendar. Here's everything you need to know about the 2017 BAFTA awards.

Who are the 2017 BAFTA nominees?

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone's hit musical La La Land looks set to dominate, after a string of top nominations.

However, Ben's little brother Casey Affleck is currently coming out in top in the race for Best Actor, for his role in Manchester By The Sea, according to the bookies.

Meanwhile, Emma faces stiff competition from Natalie Portman in the Best Actress category.

She's nominated for her portrayed of First Lady Jackie Kennedy, in the moving story of her life.

Who's predicted to win in each category?

When it comes to the prestigious Best Film award, La La Land looks to be the likely winner.

The blockbuster hit has 11 nominations across a whole range of categories, including Best Film.

Emma Stone has already been crowned Best Actress at both the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, making her a deserving favourite at this year's BAFTAs.

Densel Washington won the Best Actor gong at the SAG Awards, for his role in Fences, but is not even nominated for a BAFTA.

Instead, Casey or Ryan look likely to get the gong - after both winning Best Actor at the Golden Globes, for roles in a drama and a musical respectively.

Damien Chazelle is expected to win the Best Director category, for La La Land. He already received a similar award at the Golden Globes.

Meanwhile, Viola Fences looks like a clear winner for the Supporting Actress gong - having already triumphed at the SAG Awards and Golden Globes.

William Hill, Ladbrokes and other betting sites also offer odds on award ceremonies.
