Helen Flanagan reveals she can enjoy ‘two lunches and two desserts’ in the Coronation Street canteen thanks to her high metabolism
RETURNING Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan says she is taking full advantage of the top catering on the ITV soap – and it has no impact on her figure.
The 26-year-old TV beauty says her high metabolism means she is able to put away double the amount of food of her fellow castmates.
In an enviable confession for many, Helen says she is able to enjoy guilt free eating while on lunch breaks in the Manchester based series.
Asked if returning to the cobbles of Corrie as Rosie Webster after a five year absence has placed her under pressure to be in ‘tip-top’ shape, the actress stated: “Not at all.”

“At the canteen I have two lunches and two desserts. I’m really lucky,” she says.
Her metabolism did, however, spark a health concern when she rapidly lost weight after giving birth to her daughter in June 2015.
“I did get my thyroid checked because I did drop quite a lot of weight after having Matilda but I’m just really lucky,” the star said.
The star also adds she is enjoying embracing food on set, telling the newspaper edition: "I'm obsessed with the food in the 'Coronation Street' canteen - it's one of the best things about being back.
"My jeans have already got too tight for me in those few weeks [since she's been back]. I'll have to ask them to get Rosie's clothes the next size up. I love it," she added.

The 24-year-old actress - who portrays Sophie Webster in the long-running soap - played a major hand in the brunette beauty's return to the cobbles because she approached the show's producer Kate Oates prior to her leaving for theatre last year.
Speaking Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning, Brooke said: "I had a little bit of a hand in Helen's return. Before I left, I was speaking to Helen and I said: 'You should come back.'
"And she said: 'Darling I'd love to come back.' So when I was speaking to Kate Oates, who is our producer, before I left [to do a play], I said: 'Do you reckon we could bring Helen back for a bit?'
"And she said: 'Well, I'll see.' And the next thing we're on our way back."
She continued: "It's good, it's nice to have her back. When you've grown up with somebody and they are pretty much like your sister, to be back together you reminisce on all the times you've had together.
"You remember why you were friends in the first place. She's lovely and I love her so much. It's nice to have a laugh with her again."
