EastEnders star Danny Dyer opens up about parenting ‘nightmare’ as he reveals he struggles to cope with son’s tantrums
EAST End hardman Danny Dyer has a new toughie to contend with - his three-year-old toddler.
The Cockney soap star has lifted the lid on the tussles that go on inside his own home when mischievous Arty, his son with wife Joanne Mas, decides to wreak havoc.
EastEnders landlord Danny, who plays Mick Carter, revealed: "He walks up to a room and scopes the gaff to see what he's going to smash up first.
"Then he'll work his way round the room and smash up everything."
He added: "He is a beaut but an absolute nightmare."
Danny, 39, has even dubbed his tot, who was born prematurely, The Terminator.
He confessed Arty has broken the dishwasher before smashing the oven door with some tongs.
The actor added to : "It's like borrowing a baby orangutan and it just wants to eat and smash things up.
"And don't want to sleep.
"It's killing me, look at the state of me."
Meanwhile Danny will continue to front new Channel 4 show Parenting for Idiots.
The funny three-part-series sees celebrities share their child-rearing horror stories from exploding nappies to trips to A&E.
He shares amusing anecdotes from parenting his three children Danni, 20, Sunni, 9, and Arty, 3.
