Soap fans are convinced Ian is seriously ill after complaining about his health
EASTENDERS fans are seriously concerned for Ian Beale and are convinced the much-loved character has cancer.
Soap fans have a habit of spotting big storylines months in advance and now viewers are fearing Ian could be critically ill.
Fans first became suspicious during Thursday night's episode, Ian - played by Adam Woodyatt - shockingly fell asleep while having a pint in the Queen Vic.
Aunt Babe then told the whole pub it was because he was drunk but viewers at home were not convinced.
Many fans started to think it was something more sinister after he complained about needing to go to the toilet and then fell asleep in the pub.
His stepson Steven also said he had been going to the loo 'every five minutes' during the night.
Taking to Twitter, many said they think he could have prostate cancer.
One wrote: "Ian peeing through the night, sounds like there's a prostate story coming! #EastEnders."
Another said: ";Ian Beale at the loo 3 times during the night. Cue predictable prostate cancer storyline. #eastenders."
While some said it's cancer, others think it could be diabetes.
If Ian does become sick it will be another hard storyline for him as he now looks after wife Jane who was left paralysed after their son Bobby attacked her with a baseball bat.
Bobby was later locked up after confessing to killing his sister Lucy.
