BRITNEY Spears has been spotted out for the first time since significantly injuring her ankle last week.
Photos captured the singer behind the wheel of her white Mercedes-Benz on Monday in the Thousand Oaks area of Los Angeles, California.
Britney, 42, looked uncomfortable as she navigated the roadway, days after suffering a nasty injury at the swanky Chateau Marmont hotel.
News broke last week that cops were called to the hotel due to a woman matching the pop star's description's erratic behavior.
reported that there were complaints that the Oops...I Did It Again singer was harassing hotel staff and guests.
Britney had also reportedly gotten into a fight with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Paul Soliz, in their room, which was supposedly when the injury took place.
The performer downplayed the incident afterward on social media, claiming that although she was "badly" hurt, things were blown out of proportion.
"I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot just to show proof. Don't look at my feet I need a manicure," Britney wrote in her Instagram caption, alongside of her severely swollen ankle.
"It's so bad. F**king idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room at the Chateau and I fell, embarrassed myself and that's it.
The Disney alum continued, "Paramedics came to my door illegally, of course, caused this huge scene which was so unnecessary and all I needed was ice.

"It is actually pretty bad but s**t happens."
Britney also alleged that her injury was her mother, Lynn's fault since she called her daughter right before the ordeal happened.
Over the weekend, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Britney's injuries might be more extensive than she initially thought.
According to , a podiatrist expert from Harley Medical Foot and Nail Clinic in London, United Kingdom, the X-Factor alum might have experienced a lateral ankle sprain based on the videos she posted online.
The podiatrist also predicted that Britney may need surgery and rehabilitation in the future, depending on the severity of the injury and whether it heals properly.
It has reportedly set Britney back in her career, as an insider recently told The U.S. Sun that her team has been working on her major comeback.
Britney Spears' conservatorship timeline
In September 2021, case returned to a courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father's decision to end the conservatorship the month prior.
She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter's conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether.
Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: "Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.
"The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today."
Following the judge's decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie's place for about a month.
In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he's done fighting.
Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation.
On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.
"The team have been working on exciting plans but her wellbeing is in the front of their minds, and no one wants to rush," the source said about the Stronger singer's health.
Her friends are also reportedly concerned that Britney is hanging out with the wrong crowd again by getting back together with her ex, Paul, after parting ways with her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, 30.
"We know that a few weirdos from her past have been trying to get back into her life," an insider told The U.S. Sun.
"But all we can do as her friends is give her legal reps the heads up if we think any of them could cause problems for her."
Britney has noticeably been struggling with her mental health since being released from her over 13-year-long conservatorship in November 2022.
This means that Britney is no longer under the close watch and care of her father, Jamie, 71, who she's accused of allegedly mistreating her during that time.
Shortly before the hotel incident, Britney and Jamie settled their years-long court battle, though it wasn't the outcome that the Mickey Mouse Club alum hoped for, as she was ordered to pay him $2 million in legal fees.

Despite his big payout, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Jamie has been living in a recreational vehicle outside Britney's warehouse for six years.
Currently, there are no records of Jamie buying a permanent home following the settlement.
