SYDNEY Sweeney has debuted a new bold hairstyle at the 2024 Met Gala that left fans buzzing.
The 26-year-old attended the fashion event in New York City without her usual blond locks, instead opting for a jet-black bob look.
Sydney's new hair was accompanied by a light blue dress with a puffy bottom - a gown that also included blue flowers all over the front.
However, all eyes were on the star's hair as one person on X gushed, "Black hair!? Oh my God, she's giving us a Dark Betty moment!"
"I'm drooling!" another stated, as a third went wild over the "gorgeous" actress.
"The dark bob! Okay, sister!" a fan shared, and another added, "This might be my favorite look of the night! Like this is insane..."
"Love the hair!" a follower simply wrote.
Sydney's flowery look may have helped her stay on theme, as this year's focus at the Met Gala was The Garden of Time.
The theme draws inspiration from the most recent exhibition of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, which is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
Sydney is no stranger at all to turning heads, especially with being one of the most popular stars in Hollywood at the moment.

Just last week, Sydney found herself in Mexico to promote her latest movie, Immaculate.
Sydney was at the Four Seasons Hotel, where she attended a press conference and photo call for the film.
The Anyone But You star, who walked alongside actor Alvaro Morte, rocked a sleeveless dress which featured a high neck, but Sydney showed off some skin thanks to the cutouts by her hips.
Sydney matched her sexy look with elbow-length black leather gloves and pumps.
Not everyone is a fan of Sydney, however, as just last month longtime producer Carol Baum called out the actress' skills as well as her looks.
"There's an actress who everybody loves now - Sydney Sweeney," Carol stated while at a panel for her 1988 film Dead Ringers.

" I don't get Sydney Sweeney... I wanted to know who she is and why everybody's talking about her," she continued.
"I watched this unwatchable movie - sorry to people who love this movie - [this] romantic comedy where they hate each other," Carol said, referring to Sydney's film Anyone But You with Glen Powell.
Carol continued, touching on Sydney's looks, as she shared, "I said to my class, 'Explain this girl to me. She's not pretty, she can't act. Why is she so hot?'"
The producer also teaches at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
"Nobody had an answer," Carol said of her students' response.
Sydney's team would soon respond to the harsh words, telling , "How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman."

The star's reps called her words "shameful," and added, "To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms Baum's character."
Days later, Sydney herself took to Instagram to hit back, as she showed off her grey jumper with the words, "Sorry for having great t**s."
