Inside David Beckham’s 49th birthday with cake, balloons and posh dinner

DAVID Beckham celebrated his 49th birthday with a posh dinner out with his family.

The former England ace enjoyed low-key celebrations with his fashion designer wife Victoria and their family.

They headed to swanky eatery Canton Blue, a Cantonese restaurant at The Peninsula London on Thursday to mark the special day.

Victoria, 50, shared snaps from the day, including a sweet photo of David smiling alongside her and their three youngest children Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12. 

David was all smiles as Victoria surprised him with a cream frosted Victoria sponge cake with multiple candles.

They posed in front of a backdrop with silver balloons as his family sang happy birthday to him.

David Beckham broke major rule with Spice Girls video at Victoria's birthday

Victoria shared a clip and wrote: "Happy Birthday!!! You are our everything!!!

"Special day celebrating you!!! The best daddy and husband! Miss u Brooklyn Beckham."

Earlier in the day, Victoria treated fans to a topless video of the birthday boy after a workout.

Victoria swooned: "Birthday boy doing a birthday workout, looking good', as David flexed his muscles and showed off his toned bod.

Vic's big bash

David's birthday celebrations is far understated compared to Victoria's big 50th bash last month.

The Beckham family splashed out on a £250,000 bash across the weekend to celebrate her milestone birthday at Oswald's in London.

Soon, the internet was set ablaze by David's video of all five Spice Girls performing their hit single Stop together to the crowd of friends and family.

Joining David and Victoria for the event was all four of their children - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper - as well as a sea of A-list faces.

On top of the other four Spice Girls - comprised of Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C - Tom Cruise, Gordon Ramsay, Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Salma Hayek and Eva Longoria were among the guests.

At the end of the night - with £500 gift bags to go home with - the stars looked worse for wear as they jumped in their cars home.

Victoria, who came into the event with the aid of crutches, was piggy-backed home by her husband.
