The Jump’s Vogue Williams is forced to QUIT the show days before launch due to serious knee injury

MODEL Vogue Williams has been forced to pull out The Jump due to injury, The Sun can reveal.

The Irish star, 31, fell heavily during training for the Channel 4 show yesterday seriously damaging her knee.

She sustained the injury while practising for the Ski Cross — which sees celebrities race around a track at speeds of up to 75mph.

She will now be replaced by one of several celebrity stand ins on the famously-dangerous winter sports reality show with I’m A Celebrity star Amy Willerton most likely to step in.

Vogue, who was previously married to Westlife star Brian McFadden is currently out in Innsbruck, Austria, receiving treatment for her injuries.

She was set to compete against the likes of Olympian Sir Bradley Wiggins, ex footballer Robbie Fowler and Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and had been earmarked as an early favourite.

A source said: “Vogue is absolutely devastated. She was so looking forward to taking part and has been training religiously.

“She’s one of the most competitive of the group and was in with a real chance of winning.

“But she fell very heavily during the ski cross training and really hurt her knee and on doctor’s orders she has had to pull out.”

The show has been described as the “most dangerous” on television after a series of serious injuries to its celebrity contestants in recent years.

A show source said: “Bosses have reviewed the show’s safety standards but accidents are bound to happen. They’re gutted that Vogue is injured as she was a great contestant and a great skier.”

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 told The Sun: “Vogue fell during training for ski cross yesterday injuring her knee which sadly means she can no longer continue in the competition.”
