Lorraine Kelly can’t stop laughing as she re-creates intimate scene from 1990 hit film Ghost with Doctor Hilary Jones
LORRAINE Kelly couldn’t stop laughing as she acted out an iconic scene from the film Ghost with her colleague Dr Hilary Jones.
Sitting behind a pottery wheel, the 57-year-old struggled to say her lines as the television doctor tenderly cupped her hands around a piece of clay.
The pair were acting out the skit from the hit 1990 film as they introduced an interview with The Great Pottery Throw Down host Sara Cox.
Lorraine started to giggle before the cameras even started to roll.
She then struggled to speak as she laughed, telling the viewers at home: “And we’re talking to Sarah Cox about the return of The Great Pottery Throwdown, which is nothing like this.”
Looking around at Dr Hilary, she said: “It’s rather nice actually.”
As the show went to an advert break, Lorraine burst out laughing again at the scenario – which was her take on Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze’s sexy scene.
On the other hand, Dr Hilary appeared to be thoroughly enjoying himself as he didn't break character once.
Leaning in close to Lorraine's head, he carefully helped her mould the lump of clay but sadly it didn't resemble the masterpiece they may have been hoping for.
Along with returning host Sara Cox and judges Keith Brymer Jones and Kate Malone, ceramics designer Emma Bridgewater will appears as a guest judge.
Episode one of series two airs Thursday, February 2, at 8pm on BBC Two.
