EX-TRA SUPPORT

The Jump’s Lydia Bright reveals the advice her ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent gave her before she took to the slopes

Although they’re no longer together Lydia admits her ex-partner and former Jump star James has been supporting her

LYDIA Bright has revealed her ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent has been supporting her while she’s been in training for The Jump.

The couple, who split at the start of 2016, have remained friends and, during an appearance on Lorraine on Thursday morning, the 27-year-old said Arg had been supporting her all the way.

Former Towie star Arg took part in the show last year but he was voted out early on in the competition.

Speaking to Lorraine, Lydia said: “He didn’t really give me too many tips and to be honest I don’t think I would have taken them off him because he came out third.

“But he told me go to out there and enjoy myself because it’s an amazing opportunity.

“When I came out to see him it spurred me on to want to do it.

“He told the skeleton is the most scary thing that I would ever do in my whole, entire life and I’ve got all that coming up.

“He said just go for it.”

Lydia hasn't had an easy week on the show after revealing she suffering from the early stages of frostbite.

She told : “It’s really tough on the muscles.

“And some days the temperature is so cold.

“One day it was -25 degrees. I felt like my fingers and toes were going to fall off, and at one point my cheek was showing the early signs of frostbite!”

The former Towie star has grown close to her co-star Josie Gibson on the show and last month, they told The Sun they'd even made a “no men pact.”

Lydia said: “This year is about focusing on me and my career. I’m happy being me.

“You never know, I’m not completely against being with anybody.

“If it comes then it comes but I’m not actively looking for a relationship. I’ve always enjoyed my own company and don’t feel like I need someone to make me feel whole.”

The Jump has sparked a series of celebrity romances in previous series.

Stacey Solomon, 27, found love with Steve-O, 42, during The Jump 2015 – however their relationship ended six months later.

Similarly, Brian McFadden and Louisa Lytton, 27, developed a close relationship last year as The Sun revealed their “undeniable” connection.

And this year, Vogue Williams, 31, has fuelled romance rumours with Spencer after cosying up to the former Made in Chelsea hunk in a snap on social media.

Speaking about finding love on The Jump, the model admitted: “You never know, Josie and Lydia are both single so we’re going to go out, watch out boys!

“We’re happy with each other’s company but you never know, one of us could meet someone. Ski instructors are pretty hot!”
