Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford praises Katie Price as ‘the most incredible mother’ after fighting back at sick trolls for abusing son Harvey
The This Morning host thinks online trolls need to be brought to justice
RUTH Langsford has vehemently defended Katie Price and her son Harvey after a vicious online troll targeted the disabled teen with racist abuse.
The 56-year-old This Morning star has praised fellow Loose Women panellist Katie, 38, as a model mum and says people who spout cruel vitriol online should be charged with a crime.
reports that Ruth has contacted Katie for support since the abuse made headlines earlier this month.
“Harvey is enduring absolutely hideous trolling and those people should be ashamed of themselves. I can’t believe the sick words they use; that’s someone’s child they’re saying it about,” the mother-of-one told the magazine.

Heaping praise on Pricey, Ruth continued: “Katie is the most incredible mother, she’s unbelievable – there’s the most incredible love between her and Harvey.”
Ruth thinks that too many online trolls get away with their vile behaviour and says it is high time those hiding behind keyboards were called to account for their actions.
“I think the trolls are just hateful, shameful people. If they are found, they should be charged – it’s hideous harassment,” the TV star said.
Earlier this month, The Sun unmasked one individual who had targeted Katie’s 14-year-old son from her relationship with footballer Dwayne Wright.
Luke Price, 21, sent the mum-of-five a photo mocking her 14-year-old son's blindness — despite being a trainee with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
The baby-faced former Roman Catholic sports college student, who describes himself as “laidback” on his Twitter profile, also brands the 38-year-old's husband Kieran Hayler a “punk”.
When confronted by The Sun at his parents' £70,000 terraced home in Walton, Liverpool, the fire cadet said: "This is the only time I have ever sent anything like it. I didn't think Katie would actually see it.
“And I knew if she did she would have just seen it and thought nothing of it. I didn't mean to offend anyone.
“I don't really know what I was thinking. All I can do is apologise. It won't ever happen again."
Loose Women star Katie told The Sun she planned to go to Parliament this week to report trolls targeting Harvey, blasting: “Trolls need to know the consequences.”
