RYLAN Clark-Neal's new gig is game-show host, to his new quiz, Babushka, on ITV.
The show is now in its final week, which will please fans of The Chase who weren't happy that their daytime favourite had been bumped from the schedule to accommodate the new show.
When is Babushka on TV?
The next episode of Babushka airs on May 26, on ITV.
It's been given the weekday 5pm slot - controversially replacing quiz show The Chase in the process for its run time.
Fans immediately noticed the schedule change, but chaser Jenny Ryan was quick to reassure, writing: "Nooo, I hope #TheChase fans give @rylan's #Babushka a chance - I've heard good things! We're having a few weeks off, you're in good hands x."
The backlash even caused Rylan to quit Twitter, who after initally answering the critics decided the abuse just wasn't worth it.
It airs straight after Ben Shephard's arcade-themed quiz show Tipping Point.
What is Babushka and how does it work?
Babushka is a new game show for ITV1.
The show works similarly to Noel Edmonds' Channel 4 series Deal or No Deal - which sees people open up boxes to reveal cash prizes.
It sees contestants putting their knowledge to the test as they search through 10 giant “babushka” dolls in a bid to win a huge cash prize of up to £44,000.
If a doll is empty, hopefuls lose all of their accumulated money – but a smaller doll inside means they can continue to win more dosh.
Who is presenting Babushka?
Rylan Clark-Neal is the presenter of the new show.
Since his X Factor audition in 2012, Rylan has become one of TV's most known and loved faces, and he currently works on This Morning and Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
Speaking on This Morning about the show, Rylan said: "It sounds crazy but it is so good.
The reason I fell in love with it is the same reason all those years ago that everyone fell in love with 'Deal or No Deal', it's all down to the [other] contestants to win the money.
“It is so good. It's brilliant and it is coming soon!"
What has happened to The Chase while Babushka is on?
The Chase is taking a four-week hiatus while Babushka is presented to the general public.
Fans of The Chase were furious about the news and went online to vent their wrath.
One viewer tweeted: “Can’t believe the chase is being replaced by a new game show from Rylan! #KeepBradley #thechase.”
However, Rylan didn’t take their comments lying down however and tweeted a GIF of his crying face – which went viral during his time on The X Factor in 2012.
He told his followers: “When the chase always has a break EVERY SINGLE YEAR but people still be like…..”
