SELENA Gomez has confirmed her new relationship with The Weeknd as she shared a moody video from their romantic getaway to Italy this week.
The singer shared a clip of the musician on a boat ride on Instagram, before quickly deleting it, appearing to finally put rumours to bed.
While the star has kept tight-lipped on the romance since, she was later pictured sharing a passionate kiss with Bella Hadid's ex in Florence.
Stopping to take photos together, the pair piled on the PDA on top of a bridge near the Ponte Vecchio.
While Selena stood out in a red Los Angeles jacket, she wore her hair tied back in a casual look for the date night.
Meanwhile The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, wore a white cap as he kept an arm around his new girlfriend, before staring intently at her over a cosy dinner.
No longer keeping their romance hidden, the pair were later snapped arm in arm at the Galleria dell’Accademia museum, and looked inseparable as they strolled through Venice shortly after.
They were reportedly seen getting a boat taxi shortly after, which is likely the spot where Selena filmed her now-deleted video.
At first the couple tried to keep their relationship under wraps but insiders claim they’re happy to be seen in public, with a source confirming: “They really don’t care if everyone knows about them.”
It appears Abel has had his eye on Selena for some time, as it was revealed he sung about her in the lyrics to his hit track Party Monster.
In the tune, which he sings with Lana Del Rey, he chants: “Ooh, she mine, ooh girl, bump a line..
“Angelina, lips like Angelina.
“Like Selena, a** shaped like Selena.”
Awkwardly, both Selena and Bella’s older sister Gigi are friends and members of Taylor Swift‘s ‘girl squad’.
Selena’s ex Justin Bieber appeared equally unimpressed, slamming 26-year-old Abel’s music when asked if he listened to it – shortly after the news of their blossoming romance was revealed.
The 22-year-old told reporters: “Hell no I can’t listen to a Weeknd song! That sh*t’s whack.”
