Sharing a snap of her toned tummy, former Towie star Sam said: "I am on week three of intermittent fasting. The results have been amazing.

"I have so much more energy, I'm less bloated and I've lot a few pounds. It gets easier each week just like it's part of your new lifestyle."

Mum-of-three Sam added: "I have had a day off on the weekends of course. I'm trying to get in the gym two times a week. Easter was a bit of a distraction."

Many people who fast intermittently will have days where they don't eat, while others will restrict their food for anywhere between 10 and 20 hours.

Her body transformation comes just weeks after she suffered a painful injury in an accident with Edward.

"Edward poked me in my eyeball this morning..

"This sounds dramatic but I've never had this kind of pain from an eye poke.

"It's corneal abrasion. It's so painful... like burns. Any tips. Sunglasses help slightly."

According to the Oxford Health NHS Foundation, corneal abrasion is a "small wound on the clear covering of your eye" which usually takes up to 72 hours to heal.
