Matt Healey’s family respond to Taylor Swift’s savage new song which fans claim is about him
MATT Healey's family have responded to Taylor Swift's savage new song which fans have claimed is about him.
The US superstar released her highly-anticipated new album The Tortured Poets Department yesterday, and she didn't hold back.
Many of the songs are speculated to be about her ex-boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn
However, there are a couple of other tracks that fans are certain are about The 1975 frontman.
Although Taylor doesn't directly mention Matt - who's mum is Denise Welch and dad Tim Healey - some of the songs on the new album appear to make digs at the 35-year-old British singer.
One of which is the lyrics in The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived where she referred to a man in his "Jehovah’s Witness suit... who the f*** was that guy?"

She added: "You tried to buy some pills from a friend of friends of mine. They just ghosted you... Now you know what it feels like..."
Fans of Taylor have taken to The 1975 social media account to slam the star.
One wrote: "How's the smallest man who ever lived?"
A second added: "Is Matty okay, Taylor finished him"
A third penned: "How does it feel to be the smallest man who ever lived?"
Now his family have bitten back, and jumped to Matt's defense.
Although his famous parents - who both starred in ITV's Benidorm - are yet to comment, his aunt has spoken on behalf of his family.
'"I don't think it will come as a shock to him at all.
"He's very happy in his new relationship so I'm sure he will be focussing on that."
Taylor and Matt got together in spring 2023 after they were spotted kissing during a Casa Cipriani date in New York City.
Years earlier, Matt told E! News he had “exchanged numbers” with Swift in 2014.
He said at the time: “Let’s see what happens.
“I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She’s a sensation, I wouldn’t say no.”

After a brief summer fling, they went their separate ways in June 2023.
Taylor is now dating NFL's Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, while Matt is in a relationship with model and musician Gabbriette Bechtel.
Taylor's song for Travis
The lyrics are: "Chiefs chanting 'cause they said. There was no chance. Trying to be the greatest in the league. Where's the trophy? He just comes running over to me," she sings in the bridge.
And the chorus continues: "Touch down. Call the amateurs and cut them from the team. Ditch the clowns, get the crown, baby I'm the one to beat. 'Cause the sign on your heart said it's still reserved for me. Honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy?"
"The alchemy is clearly about travis lmao touchdown, greatest in the league, gloves on the bench... where's the trophy he just comes running over to me," posted one on X.
Another commented: "There is one beautiful surprise - The Alchemy is about Travis!
"References touchdowns, teammates, trophies and how they had an instant connection they couldn't resist."
