Loose Women viewers outraged as a sobbing Gail Porter is cut off mid-sentence after Piers Morgan’s lengthy rant about ‘best friend’ Donald Trump
Troubled former TV host broke down while discussing her bankruptcy
LOOSE Women viewers were outraged today when a sobbing Gail Porter was cut-off mid-sentence after Piers Morgan's lengthy rant about his best pal and US President Donald Trump.
While Piers was given a longer slot to discuss the controversy surrounding his comments about the International Women's March as well as his new Life Stories series, Gail was given just a few minutes to discuss her bankruptcy.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan appeared on the show wearing heels after his comments that women should have to wear them at work.
He then had a lengthy discussion with the Loose Women panellists Christine Bleakley, Nadia Sawalha, Stacey Solomon and Ann Diamond about his views on the women's march and how he will always be friends with Trump.
Gail Porter came on the show after him but anchor Christine had to cut short the chat as they ran out of time.
The former TV host burst into tears as she opened up about her money troubles.
Viewers took to Twitter in their droves to say Gail should be brought back on the show to finish her interview.
One wrote: "@Gailporter Shame that was cut short on #LooseWomen - your story should be shared! Hope things get better for you soon! Ax ."
Another said: "Omg @loosewomen Piers Morgan had a longer interview than @Gailporter and she has something worthy that needs speaking about 😡#LooseWomen."

A third said: Poor Gail porter only on for a few minutes then cut her off mid sentence! #LooseWomen."
Someone else added: "More #LooseWomen yet AGAIN your last interview is cut short! Poor Gail Porter!! Bring on earlier in the show and NOT just for the last 5 mins!!"
During his appearance, Piers defended his relationship with Trump saying: "You all have friends who don't agree with you on everything.
"I've got far more embarrassing friends than Donald Trump. I've been friends with him for more than 10 years and he's been very loyal to me.
"People keep screaming at me not to like him, but it's not going to happen, he's my friend. "
Meanwhile, Gail, 45, revealed her money troubles started after she was sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
She said: “That was about six years ago and that was the start of it because you can’t pay your bills because a doctor is looking after you.
“I didn’t open the bills, I just put them away. I’d had a breakdown, I’d lost my mum… so I put them under a pillow.”
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
