GETTING SAUCY

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield left cringing as Gino D’Acampo makes ‘prostitute pasta’ on This Morning

The pair were left speechless as the chef talked about call girls and sex-starved sailors

HOLLY Willoughby and Philip Schofield blushed their way through Gino D’Acampo’s cookery segment on This Morning when the telly chef kept talking about prostitutes.

In the slot called “Gino’s Perfect Puttanesca” the cheeky cook started by asking Holly if he was allowed to say a “certain word”.

He said: “Can I whisper into your ear first?”

Holly replied: “Yeah but I don’t know whether you can say it…”

And then, seemingly forgetting that Holly had a microphone on, he whispered: “Prostitute”

As the duo began to squirm, Phil joked: “Loudest whisper in the world!” as Holly tried to keep a straight face, and told Gino: “We all got that bit – ‘ladies of the night’!”

However the Italian didn’t like the cleaner option, retorting: “Ladies of the night? Better say prostitutes!”

As Gino started to make his “perfect prostitute pasta”, he didn’t manage to stray into safer territory and brought sex-starved sailors into it.

He explained: “In the 1700s the sailors used to go away for six or seven months and before they went to see their wives, they used to have a pit stop, otherwise they see they wife and it’s full on…”

He then revealed that the ladies of the night would then feed the sailors the puttanesca pasta which contained anchovies that would “calm it down”.

However Gino reasoned: “Yeah but can you imagine a sailor six months without seeing a woman?”

This was far too much for Holly who abruptly ended the conversation with: “Okie dokie, soo!”

Oh come on Holly, it’s not as bad as your willy wanging incident, is it?
