Who is Ben Price?
Ben Price, 46, was born in Newcastle upon Tyne on January 1 1972.
The actor was schooled at Gosforth East Middle and Gosforth High and branched into acting through the youth theatre at Newcastle’s Live Theatre.
His acting skills were developed at Central School of Speech and Drama in London where he graduated in 1996.
He landed his first TV role in 1996 when he appeared in an episode of Casualty.

Ben returned to Corrie on October 12, 2018 to reprise the role of Nick Tilsley.
He previously played the character between 2009 and 2017.
Nick is the son of Gail Platt (played by Helen Worth) and Brian Tilsley (who was played by Christopher Quinten) and was first played by Warren Jackson from 1981 to 1996.
Ben took on the role in 2009 and played Nick in over 900 episodes of the soap before deciding to end his time playing the character on January 27, 2017.

Ben is married to fashion stylist and former actress Alexandra Wheeler.
The pair tied the knot in 2005.
They reportedly met while working together in a play called On The Razzle at Chichester’s Festival Theatre.

Before taking on the role of Nick in Coronation Street, Ben is perhaps still best known for playing bisexual playboy footballer Conrad gates in ITV’s glossy sports based drama Footballers Wives.
The show itself ran for five seasons between 2002 and 2006 – with Ben’s character Conrad (a slightly David Beckham-esqu character) featuring in seasons three and four.
Nick’s other major recurring role was as Corporate Director Nathan Spencer in the BBC long running medical drama Casualty – where he played the character between 2005 and 2007 (this being a different role from his 1996 debut).
Ben also made an appearance in the glamorous USA funded Showtime historical drama The Tudors, playing English Protestant martyr John Lambert.
