Harry Melling was born on March 17, 1989, in London.
He is best known for his role as Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter films.
Harry was a member of the National Youth Theatre and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
In his early career, he starred in stage productions of The Provoked Wife, King John, Antigone, and Plenty.

Harry's first ever role was as Dudley Dursley starring in the first Harry Potter movie in 2001.
In 2009 he then embarked on a stage career and moved into TV with a guest appearance on Merlin in 2010.
Following his role in Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows Part 1, he embarked on a five-year break from films.
During this time, he enrolled in the LAMDA drama school to redefine himself as an actor.
