SCREEN stars Meryl Streep and Cher turn back time — 41 years after appearing together in near identical outfits.
The pals, in the 2018 film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Their white and black gear was similar to their style for 1983 premiere of their movie Silkwood.
Meryl, 74, presented Cher, 77, with an icon award at the event in Los Angeles.
And Believe singer Cher told the audience: “I don’t usually talk about it, but I have been down and out so many times you could not believe it.
“Dropped by record companies, couldn’t get a job… they said, ‘Oh, she’s so over.’ But I never gave up my dream.
“If you have a dream and stick with it, you will have a wonderful life and it will probably come true.”
If I Could Turn Back Time artist Cher also stayed close to toyboy lover Alexander Edwards, 38, at the awards ceremony.
Both Meryl and Cher are Academy Award winners with the latter picking up Best Actress for rom-com Moonstruck in the late-80s.
Meanwhile, 3-time Oscar winner Meryl's own career success is best known to younger audiences for roles such as Miranda Priestley in comedy-drama The Devil Wears Prada.
However, she is also known for classics such as Kramer vs Kramer, The French Lieutenant's Woman and Sophie's Choice.
