As their defeat was announced and the team behind the ITV show took to the stage, the camera cut to the Loose Women team the moment Nadia was seen telling a pal behind her: "Every f***ing year! EVERY f***ing year!"
The win brings This Morning's NTA gong total up to an impressive twelve - while Loose Women stagger behind with just four.
Luckily the ladies appeared to be in good spirits as they applauded Holly, Phil and Company as they received their awards - with Stacey Solomon and Kaye McAdams beaming as they remained in their seats.
The This Morning duo have a lot to celebrate this year after bagging the Best Live Magazine gong for their daytime telly show – beating out Loose Women among others for the gong and bringing their NTA total up to twelve.
But as Holly and Phil accepted their award, Phil said: “We shamed ourselves last year, we're not going to do that again this year... We're going to be getting tattoos!”
However, their glam persona quickly went out the window as they celebrated in the winners' room and Holly went flying into Phil as she tripped over her dress.
Phil also commented on Holly’s dress as he announced: “This dress is going to look amazing with piccalilli all over it!” – referencing last year’s shenanigans when she was forced to host This Morning in the same dress from the night before.
The duo found themselves in NTA history last partying the night away and not making it home – so presenting the show still drunk in their finery from the night before.
Holly’s perfect white dress was also ruined because she had stained it with the mucky yellow sauce.
Phil and Holly were left giggling as they were forced to explain themselves to the audience – who saw the funny side to their plight, especially as they were still clearly a little bit drunk.
During their acceptance speech, they also took a moment to commemorate their late co-star Denise Robertson, who died last March after losing her battle with cancer.
Phil said: “This time last year we had Denise Robertson on the stage with us and we really miss her. So this for Denise Robertson this year.”
Holly and Phil were joined on stage by the cast and crew of the hugely popular show – including the Friday morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, segment presenter Ferne McCann and showbiz reporter Rylan Clark-Neal.
Rylan missed out on his own gong as Ant and Dec managed to top the list once again for the Best Presenter – making it a staggering SIXTEENTH year in a row.
However, as they accepted the gong, Ant and Dec admitted they thought this was the year their streak would end – and Bake Off’s Mel and Sue would win it.
