The svelte soap star has made no secret of the fact she was overweight as a teenager and was heavily bullied for being a size 22.

But through hard work and determination, she shed the weight and now sticks to a very healthy lifestyle of clean eating and exercise.

She recently mocked her days as an overweight teen as she conducted her own Great British Bake Off.

The actress dug out a cardboard cut-out of her larger self as she went head to head with her personal trainer Matt Warner to see who could make the best cake.
