TERRIFIED Made In Chelsea star Kimberley Garner had to hide in a wardrobe after a hooded intruder broke into her LA mansion, leaving her fearing she would be raped.
The lingerie designer, 26, has slammed Los Angeles police for their lack of care after they let the culprit go.
Kimberley, who’s famed for her appearance on posh reality show Made In Chelsea, was left traumatised as she listened to the trespasser search every room of her house before breaking a window.
She phoned the local police as her and a close pal hid silently in a wardrobe but has slammed their “patronising advice” after claiming they released the robber without question.
She said: “Tonight. Was just going to bed in our newly rented house. When we saw a large hooded man with his face covered at the door at midnight, with a van outside.
“Just me and a girlfriend were alone in the house, which was big and up in the hills in Beverley hills totally isolated. We had no lock on our bedroom door. So were very silent and climbed inside the wardrobe in the dark.
"We were in there for 20 minutes as we heard him try every door around the house, and listened as he broke one.
“Staying very still as we heard him in every room around the house. We called the police and when they finally arrived. Caught the hooded man in the house.
“Not only did they not file a report. They did not take his details and just let him go. With the patronising advice of ‘Better go around the house girls to check if the doors are locked’ before they left us.
“This man only had bad intentions, rob, rape or worse, and if we hadn’t seen him and hid to call the police I hate to think what he was going to do to us."
Telly’s Kimberley is known for her steamy photoshoots as she’s used many of her luxury holidays to plug her designer bikini range.
As a socialite the star has travelled the globe and is often pictured showing off her incredible figure.
But Kimberley's latest break in the sun has left her terrified after an intruder entered her rented property late at night.
Kimberley's biggest shock came after police refused to file a report on the incident, reminding her to keep her doors "locked" instead.
After fearing that the culprit could have "robbed" or "raped" her, or something worse, Kimberley took to Instagram to share the details of her harrowing ordeal.
She said: ";The shocking thing was the police in Los Angeles.”
