‘Toadie’ actor Ryan Moloney reveals the moment he worried Neighbours would be AXED
The legendary soap star said he had a back up career ready
NEIGHBOURS star Ryan Moloney has revealed he was worried the hit soap would be axed.
The actor, who has played Toadie Rebecchi since 1993, actually trained as a pilot when he thought the Australia show was up for the chop.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, Ryan revealed more about why he had a backup career: "Ironically it was the change of stations in Australia - when we changed from Channel 10 to Channel 11.
"Normally the change of stations signifies that the show is going to go! So I rang up my wife and said: 'I need to find a new job'.
"But it's been doing really well."

going well - up until now!

You accidentally killed them! So what do you do when they turn up? Do those old feelings come back?"
