PHILLIP Schofield couldn’t hide his excitement as he revealed his South African Adventures had been commissioned for a primetime TV series.
Speaking after his mini film on Rhinos during Monday’s This Morning, Phil told the audience: “I have a bit of news for you!”
He continued: “Coming soon – Schofield’s South African Adventures with more sharks, more stunning scenery, never before seen footage and…my adventures get more adventurous.”
Phil then explained the films had been made up into a series which starts on February 17, at 8pm on ITV.
Looking to his co-host Holly Willoughby, Phil grinned and told her: “We’ve gone primetime!”
In Monday's instalment Phil, who was joined by his Steph for the trip, went looking for Rhinos and revealed just how under threat they are.
Joined by their trusty ranger Wayne, they travelled across the plains and found a six-month-old baby Rhino with it's parents.

The lucky pair also got to visit one of the country’s oldest wineries and they spent the afternoon sampling some of the finest they had on offer.
During a previous episode on This Morning, Phil's wife Stephanie started to cry as they saw their favourite animal in the wild.
Phil told the cameras: “And the day just kept getting better when Ranger Phillip made our dreams come true.
“Even we couldn’t anticipate how emotional it would be seeing our first tower of giraffes.”
The cameras then turned to show Stephanie weeping and, as she wiped away her tears, she told her husband: “I’m welling up.”
“I’m just going to start crying when we see them again.”
Phillip made no secret of his love of Giraffes throughout the episode, even stopping to buy a print of his favourite creatures.
