What is Ladies of London about?

The Real Housewives shows are the jewel in the Bravo crown and each franchise focuses on a different city.

There are currently ladies in two cities in the UK under the spotlight - Real Housewives of Cheshire and Ladies of London.

The shows follow a group of affluent ladies, some who knew each other before filming and some who are trying to break into the friendship group with mixed success.

It's a fly on the wall documentary filming at glamorous parties, charity events and social gatherings and Ladies of London provides and insight into society life in the capital.

As with all the Real Housewives shows, there are arguments, falls outs and hilarious moments pretty much every time they get together, with alliances being made and broken and the season continues.

The making-up and breaking-up dramas are interspersed with clips of interviews to camera from each of the cast members, giving their take on the situation.

Who are the Ladies of London?

They might all be in London but these ladies aren't all from London.

The cast is a mixture of Americans and Brits with a token Dane, but they all have one thing in common - they are filthy rich and part of the 'London set';

Caroline Stanbury

Caroline Stanbury has been in London's inner elite circles since she was born.

She has royal connections - as part of the aristocratic Vesey family she has been mixing with the royal family from a very young age.

She also famously dated Prince Andrew in 2000 after his divorce from Sarah Ferguson as well as rumoured relationships with Hugh Grant and Ryan Giggs.

Caroline's business, The Gift Library went into administration in 2015 during filming of season two, and part of her storyline this season is her preparation to move to Dubai with her husband, which some deem to be "for suspicious reasons".

Caroline is married to financier Cem Habib and has three children.

Juliet Angus

Juliet is one of the American ladies and is a fashion guru.

She has her own successful fashion blog and is a regular on the front row at London Fashion Week.

Her BFF on the show is the socially influential Caroline Stanbury and she seems to fall out a lot with her American co-star, Marissa.

Juliet has obviously got over the drama from season two, where during a champagne fuelled party, Stanbury straddled her husband whilst wearing a unicorn onesie.

Marissa Hermer

Marissa is another US import who just loves England and everything connected with it.

She camped out to see the Royal Baby leaving hospital and embraces any tradition that is English.

A PR expert she is married to restaurateur and owner of the club Boujis Matt Hermer, and has worked with him on growing the family businesses.

She set up her own restaurant named Top Dog, which is currently closed as she continues to juggle with the couple's three children.

She has built up her business as The Flexi Foodie and has clashed with the duo of Juliet Angus and Caroline Stanbury on the show.

She divides her time between  London and the family owned estate Mapperton in Dorset.

Julie is married to the heir to the Earl of Sandwich, Luke Montagu and has four children.

Sophie Stanbury

Sophie is Caroline Stanbury's sister-in-law, however she has now split from Caroline's brother Alex, which has driven a bit of a wedge between the pair of previously close friends.

Owner of design company, Sophie Stanbury Interiors, she appeared previously as a 'friend' of the ladies but is now a full cast member.

Sophie and Caroline were friends before Sophie married Alex, however we can expect fireworks this season as Caroline now says that she can't trust Sophie any more.

Sophie, who previously worked at exclusive member's club Annabel's, has two children.

Caroline Fleming

Caroline is real life royalty as she was born a Danish Baroness into one of Denmark's oldest and most aristocratic families.

She was however forced to give up her title when she married her now ex-husband Rory Fleming (nephew of James Bond creator Ian Fleming).

Eccentric Caroline is no stranger to reality TV, having starred in Denmark's Next Top Model and The Baroness Moves In.

She has created a line of hosiery and home-wear and is a passionate cook with a soon to be released cook book.

Caroline has three children.
