Katie Price ‘should be JAILED’ for driving her Range Rover without a licence and being given six bans, MP says
KATIE Price "should be jailed" for driving her Range Rover without a licence, an MP says.
MP James Wild said serial motoring offenders like the 45-year-old ex-glamour model with six driving bans should go behind bars.
Price was due at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with driving without insurance and without a valid driver’s licence,
Price failed to show up but was still tried and convicted.
The OnlyFans star received eight points on her licence and was fined £1,852 after she was captured on CCTV driving in a Range Rover on the A14 bypass in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Wild, MP for North-West Norfolk - close to where Price was caught illegally driving - has called for an overhaul to serial driving offenders' sentencing guidelines.

He told : "The public would rightly expect repeat driving offenders to get maximum sentences for reckless behaviour.
"Unlimited fines can be imposed for driving without insurance and in some cases the vehicle being seized."
A road safety campaigner has also told Price to use her platform to campaign for victims of road accidents.
Lucy Straker, campaigns manager at Brake, encouraged Price to reach out to her organisation and help them raise money for victims.
She said: "Maybe she would prefer to speak to a member of the Brake team to get a picture of the impact this kind of behaviour can have on communities."
The former glamour model was banned from the road in December 2021 after being slapped with a two-year driving ban.
It came after she flipped her BMW in a drink-driving crash in Horsham, West Sussex, while heading to see a pal.
Katie explained: "I'm so drained at the minute. Behind the scenes there's been court cases that I'm supposed to have gone to and I haven't been able to mentally.
“There's a shortage of ADHD meds so I can't get hold of any. They reckon they'll come back in March.”
Katie added: “So where I have a lot going on in, my poor head is is like … the only thing that keeps me focused is the kids, podcast and the work that I do.
The court heard how she was seen on CCTV getting out of a bronze Range Rover at an M&S petrol station.
One cop on the forecourt recognised her as a "media personality" and reported her over suspicions she was on a driving ban at the time.
Prosecutor Cheryl Burridge said: "Officers on patrol were stopped at the services when they saw the vehicle arrive at the fuel pumps.
"She excited the vehicle. At that moment the officer recognises Miss Price.
"The vehicle was a gold Range Rover. She exits the fuel station and the male gets into the drivers seat.
"The vehicle activated an ANPR camera and the photos appear to show Miss Price driving due to her distinctive clothing."
A mystery man then got behind the wheel when they returned, it was said.
