EastEnders bosses tease fans as they show the Queen Vic crumbling to the ground ahead of dramatic bus crash during ‘Disaster Week’
EASTENDERS starts its ‘disasters week’ on Monday and BBC One bosses have released an ominous trailer to tease viewers.
The video starts in the Queen Vic and all seems well until the camera begins to shake and the ceiling starts to crumble.
With the bust of Queen Victoria cracking and ceiling tiles falling, this is the biggest hint yet from EastEnders that the upcoming bus crash will hit the pub the worst.
Bosses did however make sure the teaser clip gave nothing else away, including whether the Carter family are in the pub at the time of the crash.
The Sun Online understands that several of the residents will be left in danger as the action unfolds.
The drama kicks off on the day Bridge Street market workers find out that the council is planning to relocate the site.
Tempers flare, and fruit and veg vendor Martin goes on strike, urging others to join him.
An aerial shot of the set emerged on a fan site this week, showing ambulances and firetrucks attending a bus crash on Albert Square.
To his disappointment, no one does, and he lands in the dog house with his missus Stacey.
Meanwhile Tina pulls a sickie to enjoy a day out with Sylvie and Shirley, and funeral directors Billy and Jay get caught in traffic on their way to collect a dead body, while Mick, Max and Sharon go about their ordinary routines.
However a devastating turn of events throws the Square into chaos.
And while locals at first rally to help those in need, they soon realise the situation may be even worse than they thought.
Stacey receives some "alarming news", which could suggest partner Martin is among the injured.
While Mick is left in shock by something he sees.
Tilly Keeper, who plays Louise Mitchell in the soap, said of the week's action: "All I’ll say is that next week’s episodes are HUGE and unmissable.
“It was exciting to film and I can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction.
“I can’t say anything else! My lips are sealed. All I will say is make sure you tune in."
