Liam Gallagher’s son Lennon wants to be an ACTOR and make it in Hollywood – despite being named after Beatles legend
THERE’s never been a better time to be an A-list showbiz offspring.
BROOKLYN BECKHAM, 17, ROCCO RITCHIE, 16, and IRIS LAW, 16, are all becoming stars in their own right.
And now another one can be added to the list - LENNON GALLAGHER, 17.
The model, son of Oasis frontman LIAM GALLAGHER and PATSY KENSIT, attended the Wonderland store launch in London on Thursday night, days after making his catwalk debut at a Topman London Fashion Week show.
But in giving his first interview, Lennon revealed acting is very much his goal and he has no intention of following his dad into music.
He said: “I can play the guitar. I have played it for years but I just feel as if I want to do acting more.
“I just enjoy acting to be honest. Hopefully, eventually I will break into acting, like stage work and movies.
“My youngest brother GENE is more into music than I am and he is the one who is going to be in a band so my dad is like, ‘Yeah, that’s really cool.’”
Despite his obvious links with Oasis, Lennon, who has been having acting lessons throughout his teens, has no idea whether the rockers will reform to mark their 20th anniversary.
Indeed, he’s only really learned about the band since the release of movie documentary Supersonic last October.
He said: “My dad is doing his own thing this year and that is him getting back into music.
“Maybe Oasis will have a career again but I don’t know. It would be cool if it does.
“I went to the Supersonic premiere and I watched it and I thought, ‘My dad was a rocker when he was younger.’
"It was amazing to learn so much about Oasis as well. It was incredible.”
