Mollie King Pedal Power Challenge updates — Comic Relief stars raise £38million as Sir Lenny Henry presents final show
MOLLIE King has finished her Comic Relief Pedal Power Challenge after raising over £1 million for charity.
Throughout her staggering 500km journey, King has already cycled from London to the streets of Towcester, all the way to Machester and then to Leeds and now ending in Hull.
Mollie has now raised a staggering £1million for Comic Relief this Red Nose Day.
It comes as Sir Lenny Henry presented his final Comic Relief show last night.
Henry performed a Barbie inspired 'I'm Just Len' song during the night leaving fans delighted.

Mollie set off from London on Monday as she commenced her journey to Hull.
The star successfully completed her mammoth journey in five days – a total of 100km per day.

Who is Mollie’s partner?

Throughout the evening, viewers were treated to an evening of entertainment, including hilarious comedy sketches, live music, extraordinary prizes and moving films showing the life-changing power of donations.

“I am completely overwhelmed…I can’t believe we have raised £1million.”
An emotional Mollie added: “It was time for me to think about my dad and to know he was doing the journey with me.”
Does Mollie King have children?
Mollie King and her partner Stuart Broad announced they would be expecting their first child in 2022.
On November 24 that year, Mollie confirmed that she and her fiancé had welcomed their daughter into the world.
“Welcome to the world Annabella Broad. We have never been so in love,” she wrote on Instagram.

Who is Mollie King?
Mollie King, the Saturdays singer and broadcaster is from Wandsworth in London.
As a youngster, Mollie was a skiing champion and a finalist in the Miss Guildford beauty pageant.
She began her rise to fame by auditioning for The X Factor in 2005 at the early age of 18, where she clashed with Sharon Osbourne over her chosen outfit despite impressing with her vocals.
Mollie returned in 2007 as part of the girl band, Fallen Angelz, but they did not progress past the Bootcamp round.

The radio star said she’s been inspired to keep pedalling thanks to her listeners and her late dad, and before the challenge began, The Saturdays singer said she didn't hesitate to take it in.
She said: "It’s still really hard to talk about - I hate talking about him in the past tense. But when I was asked to do this, I thought I have to do it.
"I want to help people who are struggling, and that is exactly what Comic Relief does. They are amazing.
"They help people who are homeless, struggling with poverty and struggling with bereavement - amongst so many other things."
'Thank you for always having my back'
On Friday afternoon Mollie told her Radio 1 co-star Matt Edmondson that she couldn’t have done it without his encouragement during tough moments when she thought that wouldn’t make it.
She said through tears: "You literally talked me back onto that bike when I was like, I can't, I can't, I can't do it anymore. Thank you for always having my back. I love you so much."
The star was then told she had raised £1,155,535 this afternoon and punched the air with joy.
Mollie King reunites with daughter
Mollie broke down in tears today after she crossed the finish line on her marathon 500km bike ride - having raised a seven-figure sum for Red Nose Day.
The Radio 1 star cycled from London to her late father's hometown of Hull over five days and was met by fiancé Stuart Broad and their 16-month-old daughter Annabella in the Yorkshire city.
Sir Lenny Henry will return for one last time
Legendary Comic Relief host Sir Lenny Henry will be back on the stage for one last time.
In early 2024, the comedian announced he would be retiring from the annual telethon.
Sir Lenny said he would be stepping down as "it is time for someone else to take the reins".
But before he bows out he will be live on air for Comic Relief 2024, encouraging donations and introducing a mix of comedy specials, cameos and live performances.

What is the theme of Red Nose Day 2024?
The slogan of Red Nose Day is "Do something funny for money".
The day is raising funds to "help put food on plates, roofs over heads and keep little ones safe".
Although the theme doesn't change, Comic Relief often launches new red noses - and 2024 is no different.
There will be four fun characters to collect – as well as a one in 166 chance to get your hands on a limited edition Rare "Gold" Nose, known as the Golden Hooter.
The four new noses are Gigglesworth, McChortles, Smirklethorpe or Lol E Pops - with the latter "red" nose actually being blue.
On top of this, the noses are made from plant-based materials meaning they can be recycled at home.
