Binky Felstead’s mum Jane reveals her ‘total shock’ at learning she is set to become a grandmother

BINKY Felstead’s mum Jane has opened up about the “total shock” at becoming a grandmother.
The 26-year-old Made In Chelsea star revealed on Sunday that she and her on/off boyfriend Josh ‘JP’ Patterson, 27, are set to become first time parents - and mum Jane has revealed that the couple weren’t the only ones who were shocked.
“A short while ago I suddenly found out I am going to be a grandmother! Total shock of course for both of us!” she told the

However despite JP’s rocky relationship with her daughter, Jane has nothing but praise for him.
“Like the good man he is - and especially as their relationship isn’t as one would expect - he immediately rose to the challenge, supporting her in her shock.
“What a wonderful gift this is! I can’t express how happy I am!”
She went on to add that despite Binky always wanted lots of children, but just not quite now…
“Binks has always loved children; being very maternal she always saw herself having a big family - in the future!
“The future is a wonderful thing because you can let it sort itself out; because we have absolutely no control.”

She added: “They are both overcome with joy; and suddenly the future they planned - if they had planned one (which I doubt) - is turned on it’s head.

Binky told the publication: “It’s obviously been a huge shock to both of us.
“This is a new start and a new chapter in our lives.
She added: “I want to be a little family, to be honest. But I’m going to be ok either way.
“Whatever happens, this baby is not going to be affected.
“And I know Josh will be part of the baby’s life whether we are together or not. We are a unit now.”
