THE People’s Choice Awards red carpet didn’t disappoint as a whole host of stars strutted it in an array of styles that will certainly have fans talking.

Jennifer Lopez stunned in a black long-sleeved dress, with a sheer silver embellished detail on the chest.

The gown by Reem Arca swept across the carpet, and clung to her infamous curves as the singer pulled a serious power pout.

She added a gothic edge to the look with smoky eye makeup, black nails and chunky vintage jewellery.

She wore her hair in a tight ponytail that cascaded down her back.

Blake Lively wore long sleeved, tasselled black dress by Ellie Saab and positively glowed – despite the fact she earlier revealed on her Instagram that she’d only had two hours sleep due to breast feeding her four-month-old daughter Ines.

Shortly before taking to the red carpet, the actress posted: “Thank you @lorealmakeup @kristoferbuckle @rodortega4hair @lorealhair for making me look like I slept more than 2 hours last night. #breastfeedingmama”

She teamed the look with strappy heels, which accentuated her long, bronzed legs.

She opted to wear her blonde hair straight, and had smoky eye makeup.

She was later joined by her older sister, actress Robyn Lively, who wore a one-shouldered green gress, with a thigh high slit and ruby heels.

Actress Kristen Bell made a statement in a floor-length shiny silver and black Rasario jumpsuit, with a white scalloped bra detailing.

The loose-fitting piece was kept from being too long for her legs thanks to a pair of sky-high black heels.

The actress wore her shoulder-length blonde hair in loose waves, and made sure her eyes sparkled with silver eyeshadow.

Sofia Vergara wowed in white and gold and The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco opted for a long, blue number.

Actress Yara Shahidi wore an unusual black and white diamond print gown.

The floor-length dress by Off-White had a ruffled collar with extra ruffles going down the body and the sleeves, and to add an extra talking point was sheer. She teamed it up with white heeled ankle boots.

The 16-year-old Black-ish star wore her hair in a top-knot, kept her eye makeup simple, opting for striking red lipstick.

Fifth Harmony put on a united front on the red carpet as they prepared to perform as a foursome for the first time since Camilla Cabello quit the group last month.

The girls oozed old school Hollywood glam in rose gold silk numbers, and smouldered as they posed for cameras, proving that their just as strong as four.

Host Joel McHale had an air of James Bond about him as he took the red carpet with his wife Sarah Williams. The TV star wore a black tux and bowtie, while Sarah wore an off-white sleeveless dress with splashes of colour, accessorising with a silver clutch bag and matching shoes.
