Homeland continues TONIGHT, May 6 at 9pm on Channel 4.
It's the twelfth hour-long instalment and season finale.
If you miss the show you will be able to catch in one hour later on Channel 4+1.
It will also become available on Channel 4's on-demand service shortly after the show airs.
What is Homeland?
Homeland is an American political thriller television series developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa
It is based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War (Original Hebrew title Hatufim, literally "Abductees"), which was created by Gideon Raff.
The series stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a Central Intelligence Agency officer with bipolar disorder.
The series has received several awards, including the 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, and the 2011 and 2012 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama, as well as Lead Actress in a Drama Series and Claire Danes, respectively.
What can we expect from Homeland season seven?
The new series will be based in and around the US state of Virginia, close to Washington D.C. and the home of the CIA's base of operations at Langley.
Carrie is living in D.C. with her sister Maggie after leaving her job at the White House.
A trailer for the series hinted at a clash between Carrie and the current administration in the White House as the brilliant but unpredictable spy faces one of her greatest threats so far.
Who is in the cast for Homeland season seven?
Claire Danes
Claire is the central character and plays Carrie Mathison.
The 38-year-old actress is known for the cult teen drama My So Called Life, as well as movies Romeo and Juliet and Stardust.
Her role in Homeland has seen her land numerous awards.
She is married to fellow actor Hugh Dancy and they have one child together.
Rupert Friend
Rupert plays Peter Quinn, who is a CIA paramilitary officer.
Rupert is also known for his roles in Pride & Prejudice and the Young Victoria.
Mandy Patinkin
Mandy plays Saul Berenson who is Carrie Mathison's mentor and to some extent, her protector at the CIA.
He is also known for being in the Princess Bride and Dick Tracy.
F. Murray Abraham
Oscar-winning actor F. Murray Abraham plays Dar Adal, a black ops specialist and old friend of Saul.
The American won his Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of composer Antonio Salieri in the 1984 flick Amadeus.
He's appeared in dozens of other films and TV series including Scarface, Kojak and Louie.
It is currently unclear if Abraham is back for series seven.
Dylan Baker
One new addition for series seven is Dylan Baker in the role of US Senator Sam Paley.
Show bosses have described the lawmaker as a "maverick" who will be chairing a committee looking into the President for executive overreach.
Baker has appeared in TV shows such as The Good Wife and Damages and also played Doc Connors in Spider-Man.
Elizabeth Marvel
Elizabeth Marvel is returning as President Elizabeth Keane and will play a key role as the series develops.
No stranger to a political thriller, the 48-year-old is best known for her role as Heather Dunbar on House of Cards.
She has also appeared in The District, The Bourne Legacy, 30 Rock and The Newsroom.
