When is SS-GB on TV?

The fifth and final episode airs March 19 at 9pm on BBC One.

SS-GB hit our screens on Sunday, February 19.

The new show was shown at a premiere screening in London in January.

Writers started working on the adaptation of Len Deighton’s original book almost three years ago.

The new series goes head to head with Vera on ITV and Homeland on Channel 4.

Who is in the cast of SS-GB?

Maleficent actor Sam Riley has taken up the lead role of DSI Douglas Archer of Scotland Yard in SS-GB.

He revealed: "Archer is a compelling and complex character. He is a good guy struggling to reconcile his job as a policeman within the repressive Nazi machine.”

The BAFTA Award-winner will be joined by Still Alice star Kate Bosworth.

Other confirmed actors that will feature in the short series include Game Of Thrones’ James Cosmo, The Missing’s Jason Flemyng and Inglorious Basterds’ German actor Rainer Bock.

What is SS-GB all about?

SS-GB is a drama set in a dystopian world and shows what life would have been like if the Axis powers won the Battle of Britain.

The chilling series shows an alternative universe where the King has been taken prisoner and Winston Churchill is assassinated.

In this distorted society, police detective Douglas Archer’s life turns upside down when he follows up a routine murder case.

As he sifts through the evidence, he uncovers a secret underworld of British atomic weapons that are being actively pursued by the German military intelligence service, Abwehr.
