LUCKY football fans have caught sight of Leeds United fan Ellie Goulding in the stands at Elland Road over the years.
And if you manage to get a ticket for this summer’s Soccer Aid, you might be in with a chance to see her on the pitch at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge.
I can reveal the singer — who will perform at the Brit Awards on Saturday — is in talks to not only perform at the charity game but also to play, with organisers keen to sign her up as a sub for the England team.
A source said: “Ellie is a massive Soccer Aid fan and has wanted to get involved for years. Previously she has been in talks about performing at the halftime show but her schedule made it impossible.
“This summer’s match could be on the cards, though, and her team are currently negotiating with Soccer Aid to try to make it happen.
"As well as performing, they want to see if Ellie would get on to the pitch and play.

“She is a decent player and is fighting fit so she wouldn’t need any training. It might be too much for her to play as well as perform, but the hope is she could have 15 minutes on the pitch in the second half, if time permits.”
Ellie would be joining a raft of stars who have performed over the years at the match, which has raised £90million for Unicef since the first game back in 2006.
Previously Soccer Aid co-founder Robbie Williams has played the half-time show, as have Tom Grennan and Rita Ora.
Ellie revealed herself to be a big Leeds United fan a few years back and even sang at defender Luke Ayling's wedding in 2021.

Luke met the singer after a match and said: “She was sitting at a table close to me and I’d had a few drinks, so I thought I’d ask if she was free for my wedding.
“We had picked one of her songs for our first dance. She said ‘yes’ straight away. I just thought, ‘We’ve had a few drinks, she won’t turn up’.
"But the next day she messaged saying she was up for it. She sang three songs, had some drinks and stayed the night.
"She was so down to earth and lovely.”
What a legend.
Rocky vs Rocket
WATCH out Elton John – rapper Asap Rocky is coming for your crown.
The US star was pictured at Milan Fashion Week wearing a pair of bonkers white sunglasses which would give the specs-loving Rocket Man singer a run for his money.
Rocky was seen being helped to his car outside the Palazzo Parigi hotel in the Italian city, which is perhaps not surprising given he could only see through a tiny slit.
That’s an accident waiting to happen.
ADELE ON REST AND RECOVERY
ADELE is taking no risks when it comes to Covid – and has started wearing a respirator to protect herself.
The singer revealed this weekend she is going on vocal rest after struggling with her voice in recent days.
Fans spotted her in Las Vegas wearing a mask which helps filter out nasties in the air to stop her catching anything that could affect her mega-money performances.
She said during her residency this weekend: “I’m sure you can hear it in my talking voice and my singing voice. Your girl was tired. I didn’t sleep very well.
“And Ursula from the ocean has come from my chest tonight.
“I can’t hit my headnotes properly. I didn’t sleep very well and my chest is on fire.
“Straight after this show I am going on voice rest.”
Olly’s extra
HE releases his UK Eurovision entry Dizzy on Friday and now Olly Alexander has told fans that more music is on the way.
The Years & Years star has spent months working on a new album to show another side of him and hopes it will be out before the end of the year.
Olly, who will compete at the contest in Sweden in May, said: “I’m making a new one which has been fun.
Usually it takes me like four years to make an album which is kind of long. But this time I feel like I’m doing it a bit quicker.
“I’m trying to create stuff that feels really free and not really having too much of an idea what I’m doing, really.
“I’m trying to fall back in love with the process of it.”
I can see why Olly might be nervous about his next record though.
Speaking on the Queer The Music podcast, he recalled: “When we came back with the second album, I was like, ‘I want to be a bit sexier now,’ and things seemed to fall apart really when that happened, with the label.”
ROD STEWART and Jools Holland are on course to hit No1 this Friday with joint album Swing Fever.
The record, which they announced in Bizarre last year, would be Rod’s first to top the charts in five years and Jools’ debut at No1.
But they face competition from Scots rockers The Snuts, who are at No2 in the midweek charts.
Anya gets waisted
DUNE: Part Two is almost three hours long, so I hope Anya Taylor-Joy didn’t have to sit through it while wearing this corset.
She shared a snap on Instagram of the bone-crunching undies she wore to the film’s New York premiere, and just the sight of it made me want to loosen my belt.
Fans weren’t impressed with the post either, with some accusing the actress of “promoting starvation” in the comments.
Anya joined co-stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya and Austin Butler on the red carpet, as well as Florence Pugh who showed some major sideboob in her silver halter-neck frock.
Sting was also there, along with his actress daughter Mickey Sumner, 40 years after he starred in the original Dune movie, which was savaged by critics.
With all these celebrities in Part Two, I’m hoping this new adaptation follow-up fares better.
AMANDA IN DINER PREMIERE
AMANDA HOLDEN knows how to throw a party.
The BGT host revealed she invited pals including Alan Carr over to her London house to officially open her new dining room – after she forked out thousands on giving it a makeover.
Amanda said: “We’ve refurbed the dining room and we had some friends over and I wanted it to feel like a restaurant so I put a piece of ribbon across the door and I got Alan to cut the ribbon.

“The reviews were brilliant but then Ashley Roberts made up a little dance routine to Beyonce's current No 1 which is very country.
“We did this whole dance routine to it. The dancing happened before the dinner and we were two margaritas in at that point. Saturday was a write off and I didn’t get out of my pyjamas.”
