Coronation Street’s Liz McDonald could pass as Madonna as fans go wild over actress Beverley Callard posing with will.i.am
She's already a legend on Corrie but fans are wondering why Beverly Callard and Madonna have never been seen in the same room together
CORONATION Street has many legends on it but it appears to be hiding a music superstar in its ranks.
Soap fans have gone wild after spotting some brilliant similarities between the street's own Liz McDonald and music icon Madonna and these pictures prove the pair may be the same person.
One wrote on Twitter: "Has anyone ever seen Liz McDonald and Madonna in the same room? I thought not."
Madonna's trademark red carpet pose is mirrored exactly by Liz as she struts her stuff outside of the Rovers in a press shot for Corrie.
It comes as the actress behind legend Liz, Beverley Callard, came face to face with The A-list singers on The Voice.
Coaches Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, Gavin Rossdale and Will.i.am were invited inside Britain's most famous pub, the Rovers Return, where they met Bev.
Beverley said: "It was such an honour showing the coaches round the Rovers.
"My late mum was the biggest Tom Jones fan of all time, and my grandchildren are huge fans of Will.
"My mum would have been so thrilled to know he was behind the bar with me, and I was a very cool grandma when I took home my photos of me showing Will how to pull a pint.
"Will even said he'd like to film a pop video in our pub!"

The actress continued: "Jennifer was so glam and gorgeous, Liz would love to have her work behind the bar.
"Gavin told me he grew up in a pub, so he was a natural when it came to how everything worked.
"And can you imagine karaoke nights in the Rovers if these guys worked for Liz?"
