Perez Hilton wades in to Stephanie Davis’ and Jeremy McConnell’s bitter paternity row after grovelling tweet
The gossip blogger labelled Jeremy McConnell 'trash' as he cast doubt on the statement released after the birth of Steph's baby
Former Celebrity Big Brother star Perez Hilton has waded into the Jeremy McConnell and Steph Davis baby row - and he is firmly on Team Steph.
The controversial gossip blogger felt the need to add his input to the story after Steph finally gave birth after a 48 hour labour this week.
Shortly after the birth, Jeremy released a statement to The Sun Online that said: "I am delighted that Steph has safely had the baby, of course if he is my son I will absolutely step up and do what I can to support him.
“Any timescale for that is in Steph’s hands now. I did reach out to her some weeks ago but didn’t hear back.”
But dad-of-two Perez wasn't buying the statement and backed Stephanie up in a tweet aimed directly at the Irish lothario.
Slamming the claims of support, Perez wrote: "What you can??? To support him??? " - followed by four poop emojis.
A spokesperson for Stephanie confirmed she'd had her baby, but denied that Jeremy had been in contact.
Shortly after Jeremy posted the statement online, he was seen downing shots at an all night rave in Thailand on a friends social media pages.
The friend added text on a segment of him staggering around with his tongue lolling out reading, ‘Yes a son’.
In another video, Jeremy can be seen holding a bottle of beer as he stumbles around the room before falling onto the bed.
His friends laughs at him as kicks something on the ground and then mumbles at the camera.
They captioned the video: “Get the kid a physcoligist (sic).”
The 26-year-old model from Dublin still disputes whether he is the father of Stephanie’s baby.

In an explosive interview with Ireland’s TV NOW magazine, the Celebrity Big Brother star revealed why he’s convinced that he is not a father-to-be.
He said: “Look, if she is pregnant it’s not my kid.
“It was a known thing that we spoke about after we broke up, that she came on.
“She had her period. We had been broken up.”
The pair became CBB icons are getting together in the January series last year - two years after Perez took part in the show.
Steph and Jez became controversial when they started dating in the house despite Steph's boyfriend outside the house, Sam Reece.
Meanwhile, Perez revealed that he didn't return to Celebrity Big Brother after bosses refused to double his fee.
On his podcast Perez explained how he found his appearance on CBB in 2015 “traumatic” and that money was the only incentive for him.
He said: “Yes, I have been asked to do it and I told them I would do it if the price was right.
“And the price was not right, okay! It was way off. I wanted to get paid double and I think I’m worth it.
“I am the most talked about housemate in the history of Big Brother.
“Statistics show that. I was on the most popular season in like seven or eight years.”
However, he later threw his name into the ring when Ray J was unexpectedly removed from the house after chronic tooth pain caused the rapper to pass out.
Speaking on Twitter after the rapper walked out of the show, he said: “I love the drama!” before adding he would return “if the price was right”.
