CORONATION Street star Alan Halsall has reportedly undergone a hair transplant.
The news comes after eagle-eyed viewers took to Twitter to point out that his character Tyrone had been spotted on the cobbles sporting a fuller-looking barnet.
The Mirror reports the Corrie actor has followed in the footsteps of Wayne Rooney and Calum Best by going under the knife to improve his hair line.
The publication suggests he underwent the procedure last year and is now showing off the results.
A source said: "Behind the scenes, Alan and [Corrie co-star] Simon Gregson have been poking fun at each other’s diminishing hair for a while...

"Since then, he’s been the talk of the set. Everyone is really impressed with how it looks.”
He is said to have undergone the hair transplant at the Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester.
It comes weeks after fans began speculating about Alan's hair after spotting changes onscreen in Corrie.
