JUSTIN Timberlake has called off his one-night-only London gig due to illness.
Less than 24 hours before he was due on stage at the Roundhouse Theatre, the Cry Me a River singer told fans that he was under the weather and had no choice but to cancel.
Speaking in a hoarse voice, he said: “This is an unfortunate video I have to send out. But I’m sure you can tell from the sound of things that I am not going to be able to make it to the show on Friday, which I’m gutted about."
"I’ve been here in London all week and was so excited to perform Roundhouse. But… I’ve been battling some kind of bug and I thought it was getting better but it took a turn for the worse.”
The star is due to appear on tonight’s episode of the Graham Norton show which was pre-recorded in the week. But the 43-year-old admitted that he felt so ropey he “almost didn’t make it on the show, but was able to power through.”
But now it seems that pushing himself through the filming process for the chat show, may have been a step too far for his constitution, after waking up this morning ‘feeling worse.’
