Three signs Ellie Goulding had split from husband Caspar Jopling as they separate after four years of marriage

ELLIE Goulding and her art dealer husband Caspar Jopling have decided to split after a four-year marriage.

However, it seems that the pair's relationship had been breaking down over some time, and the signs were there to see.

In one sign, Ellie, 37, left cryptic messages for her fans on social media as she enjoyed sun-filled holidays away from her husband.

The singer posted an album of her girls trip to Costa Rica in January as she enjoyed the picturesque surroundings.

November last year saw a trip to California, where she was pictured with her son on the beach, but no snaps of Caspar were shared.

Last August the 'Burn' superstar posted another string of images as she cryptically penned: "Dump. I don’t know who needs to hear this but- keep going! Love you x."

In her second hint, there are no pictures of either her husband or the pair together anywhere on her Instagram profile.

Snaps of the duo are noticeably absent, however she did post about her rumoured ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris in April 2023.

The pair were rumoured to be dating after they shared a kiss in 2013 for the music video of 'I Need Your Love.'

Although she insisted the pair were just friends, the pair seemed to have remained close over the years.

They beamed together in a snap on social media as they celebrated their number one for their track 'Miracle'.

In the third sign of potential marriage troubles, the pair have also not been seen red carpets together as of late.

The 'Anything Could Happen' hitmaker has made high-profile appearances at huge events such as the Grammy Awards and the British Fashion Awards.

But the blonde beauty appeared solo as she posed for awaiting photographers.

Ellie and Caspar, 32, had been dating since 2017 and married two years later in 2019 in what looked like a fairytale ceremony in York Minster after a 12 month engagement.

They then welcomed their son Arthur together in 2021, but we reported that after battling with hectic schedules, they were spending time separately.

Last year she was spotted without her wedding ring as she left the Treehouse Hotel in London's Marylebone alone looking pensive.

After we reported they attempted to get the spark back, onlookers saw Ellie and Caspar on a date night at Ricky Gervais’ comedy show in London’s Leicester Square.

In September, we also previously told how Caspar had asked Ellie to cool off her close friendship with Tory MP Zac Goldsmith in a bid to focus on their four-year marriage.
