Mel C reveals the truth about Spice Girls reunion plans after Mel B teased ‘imminent announcement’
Scary had previously insisted the band were all invited to Prince Harry's wedding
STAND down Spice Girls fans, I’m afraid to say the reunion is off . . . again.
After Scary Spice Mel B teased last month that an announcement involving all five members was due imminently, Sporty Spice Melanie C has now insisted she was actually talking rubbish.

I can’t say I’m completely surprised, especially after Scary insisted the band were all invited to Prince Harry’s wedding . . . which also never happened.
Sporty said: “Mel, I adore her and she has this thing, and it can sometimes get us into hot water.
“Of course we’re always talking, we’d love to do something else.
“I’d love to get back on stage with the girls but everybody wants to do something a little bit different or in a different way, so it’s just trying to get everyone on the same page at the same time.

“But Melanie likes to manifest things and she thinks if she says it enough, it will happen.
“I can’t confirm that there is anything happening soon but we’re always talking about opportunities.”
Well that’s that idea down the pan then.
As for live shows, Mel C said that it is up to Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner.

Nick Grimshaw urged them on his Sidetracked podcast to go back on tour, to which Mel C replied: “You’re talking to the wrong one.
“I’d be there next week.”
And it sounds like Scary is already rubbing Posh up the wrong way.
She added: “Mel B calls Victoria Vic, just to annoy her.”
I’d do the same, to be fair.

ED SHEERAN followed my lead by celebrating his 33rd birthday at the posh Dorchester hotel in West London.
But while I opted for afternoon tea – thanks mum – Ed pulled out all the stops.
He had with a private party with a group of his family and closest friends. Then again, he does have a lot more money than my mum.
The A Team singer, who is in the middle of a tour in Asia, flew in from Singapore to join his wife Cherry at the smart venue.
And he took the dress code insisted on by the five-star hotel very seriously, ditching his usual uniform of tatto-baring T-shirts, jeans and trainers, below, for this smart blue suit, which he team with a tie and proper shoes. So there wasn’t an inking in sight.
Ed didn’t seem keen on leaving any leftovers mind, even if he is absolutely minted.
The singer was spotted walking out of the Dorchester holding two bags of food and a box, which likely contained one of its rather fancy cakes.
Happy birthday, Ed.
JL-Yes, then Oritse will go it alone

HE landed ten Top Ten singles with JLS including five No1s, now Oritse Williams is preparing to go it alone.
The singer, above at a screening for Bet UK fashion documentary Garms, told pals he was hoping to branch out following a string of dates with the group this summer.
A source said: “Oritse has big plans for his solo career and he really wants to go back to his roots with his sound.
“JLS is his priority but once the summer tour is out of the way he wants to get into the studio and start working on his own stuff.”
SHE has been a singer and a dancer and now Britney Spears has had a surprise reinvention as a dance teacher.
The singer, who has sold more than 150million records and had six No1 singles, said on Instagram she has started mentoring kids but didn’t reveal where.
I could do with lessons in busting some sexy moves, like Britney in her heyday, so sign me up.

THERE was no wiping the smile off Strictly winner Ellie Leach’s face as she made her first public appearance with new boyfriend Bobby Brazier.
The couple, who met on the BBC1 series last year and grew close on the arena tour last month, snuggled up at the play Hadestown in London on Wednesday.
Asked this month whether they were an item, EastEnders actor Bobby stayed coy and said: “I don’t know… You’ll have to see what she says.”
This picture answers that question, even if they won’t.
IT’S all about the girls for Olivia Attwood – who has an all-female team for her new podcast So Wrong It’s Right.
And it’s definitely going to be popular, with Olivia yesterday spending a third day at No1 in the Apple podcast charts on pre-orders despite having not released a single episode..

SOME very lucky pluckers got to see a trio of British guitar legends in one hit, when they joined forces yesterday.
Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page joined Queen’s Brian May and Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi to cut the ribbon and officially open the Gibson Garage, just off London’s Oxford Street.
The state-of-the-art shop not only sells guitars but will also act as a hub for music enthusiasts, with a full schedule of events, a mini gallery and more than 300 axes to play when it opens to the public tomorrow.
And while our music heroes can’t yet be cloned, Gibson has announced it has created an exact replica of Jimmy’s iconic double neck guitar, the instrument he needed to play Led Zep classic Stairway To Heaven live on stage.
The guitar, going on sale next month, has been created from a 3D scan of the original – complete with scratches – and has the rock icon’s seal of approval.
Jimmy said: “I wanted to have it exactly the same as my one.
“From my point of view, it had to be as close to mine as possible.
“We took a lot of time to get it exactly right.
“There’s some distressing on it.
“I wanted it to look genuine, like how it’s been in and out of the case.
“They took everything from the original to get it as close as possible, and it jolly well is.”
Singer James Bay performed at the bash, in front of his guitar heroes.
Not easing James’ nerves, Brian May said: “No pressure.”
